A solid block of wood is a cube whose volume is 1x10^-3m^3. When dropped into a swimming pool, it floats such that 20% of it is above water. How much does the block of wood weigh? (Use 10^3 kg/m^3 for the density of water.) PLEASE EXPLAIN. The answer is 7.8 im just trying to understand the problem so if u could show the steps with numbers i'd appreicate it.
