Here is a list of companies in Canada and are publicly traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Loblaw Companies Ltd.
Pizza Pizza Royalty Corp.
Using the materials learned in the course assess the stock performance of each of the companies:

a) Discuss the performance of the companies Sep 2020 to Aug 31 2022. (hint you should use a website like yahoo finance to find metrics for your performance assessment - This is an opportunity for you to explore all the different metrics available to share what are good performance metrics to judge companies. Each instructor has covered a lot of them in the classes already)

b) Do the companies have a dividend policy?

a. If yes define it, if not please provide reasons as to why not.

b. How have these companies returned cash to their owners? Is there is a dividend or share repurchase?

c. How much cash have these firms accumulated over time and given this, how would you recommend that they return cash to the shareholders (assuming that they have excess cash)
