When organic matter with an average chemical formula of C5H9O3N is consumed by microorganisms, it undergoes the following oxidation reaction:

C5H9O3N + 5O2 + 2H2O → 5HCO3- + 4H+ + NH4+

If 10 mg/L DOC is consumed,

(1) how much HCO3- is generated?

(2) What will be the contribution to alkalinity from the HCO3- generated?
