Question: This writer agrees with you about the beliefs you have in a partnership in marriage and raising children together. This, in our eyes, should be a shared responsibility. But other cultures simply do not follow those customs. Furthermore, it is quite the ethical dilemma what Hasna is experiencing between her children and husband. On one hand, Hasna and her children are living a different way of life than what the husband wants. Perhaps the husband can be invited to therapy with the family, to see if they can resolve their differences. An ethical issue will arise if the husband cannot get on board with this. How might this effect the children, not having their parents on the same page? What ethical issues can arise from this?
