Following is an example response for a BusinessWeek article on Blackboard. You must have at least 6-8 sentences and reference the textbook.

Example:

In the article, "Building a Better Mouse Cage" from the June 2, 2016 Businessweek article, the author discussed how mice are used for testing, and the costs involved with that testing.

Mice can be used for health testing that can bring products to market more quickly. Regular pet store mice cost less than $10 but the cost for testing mice is much higher.

I'm wondering if it's the "resource scarcity" as mentioned in Ch. 3 (p. 47)of our textbook. Some companies feel that the price of the mice is too high and that there are too many regulations for animal testing.

I know that animal testing is beneficial for the human race when trying to eradicate various disease. I don't like it, per se, but I understand that it's necessary. Some animal testing, in my opinion, is unnecessary.

I have boycotted products like M.A.C. cosmetics due to their animal testing practices. I look for cruelty free products with the little bunny logo on it. I don't want to use anything that has caused an innocent animal to suffer in the name of our beauty.
