Question - Following information is available about Dhaka Ice Cream.

It has budgeted sales of 500,000 units in July, 650,000 units in August, 600,000 units in September.

One unit of ice cream requires 0.3 kg of milk and 0.15 kg of sugar.

On July 1, they have 100,000 units of finished products (i.e. ice cream that is completely ready to be sold). Additionally, they have 39,750 kgs of milk, and 19,875 kgs of sugar in raw materials inventory in July 1.

The company has a policy that ending balance of finished goods inventory should be equal to 20% of next month's sales; and that ending balance of raw materials inventory (for each kind of raw material) should be equal to 25% of next month's needs.

4: Milk and sugar cost Tk. 60 and Tk. 35 per kg, respectively. What will be the total bill for budgeted amount of raw material purchases in July?

5: If the firm pays 60 percent of its total raw materials bill during the month of purchase, what is the budgeted cash disbursement in July for July purchases of raw material? (Read the question carefully. You are not required to think about any accounts payable from June) How much will Dhaka Ice Cream owe its supplier for July purchases in August?
