Then, for the same news story day, go to a major news broadcasting site like NBC Nightly News, ABC World News, CBS Evening, etc. Now compare the two by discussing the following questions:

How many stories were on the front page of the newspaper and how many stories were contained in the news broadcast?
What types of stories did are view/see? Are they national, international, regional, or local? Was the type and extent of information provided similar or different across the two media outlets? Explain.
How similar was the selection of top news stories in both news outlets? Is there any evidence of media agenda setting? - Most likely yes, if so, explain with an example.
What might audiences conclude about the most important news of the day by reading the newspaper or watching the television news? What impacts do you think exposure to one or both of these news outlets might have on the audience's opinions about what's important in the news?
