PROBLEM 1. How many kilograms of methane (CH4) are in perfectly insulated piston with the following properties: Volume = 2 cubic meters. Pressure = 3 bar absolute. Temperature = 50 Celcius? The ideal gas law constant R = 0.00008314 cubic meters.bar/K/gmol. Assume methane is an ideal gas.

2.For the system in PROBLEM 1, the volume is reduced by half (the gas is compressed). What is the final volume, pressure, temperature, and number of moles of gas? Use Cp/Cv = 1.3.
