A woman accelerates her motorized scooter, with the engine on, down a 13-m-long ramp that starts at a height of 2.2 m. Her speed is just 2 m/s at the top of the ramp, but 17 m/s when she gets to the bottom. The total mass of the woman and her scooter is 87 kg. Assuming the sum of all forms of friction can be represented as a constant drag of 58 N, how many joules of energy did friction absorb (dissipate into heat), as she went down the ramp?
