A 137 g rat enters a kitchen and eats 5 sugar (sucrose) cubes each weighing 2.5 g. The sugar is rapidly metabolized aerobically to carbon dioxide gas and liquid water. Assuming the only weight loss for the rat is the loss of CO2 gas (i.e. water is retained), how many grams does the rat weigh once the sugar is metabolized?
