This sample yielded a mean of 1018 words per minute with a standard deviation of 30 words per minute. Do the data support the belief that the speed-reading course will enable the employees to read more than 1000 words per minute at a significance level of 0.05? Assume that reading speeds of persons who have taken the course are normally distributed.
