Problem: Tom is chasing Jerry across a table surface which is 1.5 m above the floor. Jerry steps out of the way at the last moment, leaving Tom to slide right off of the table with a speed of 5.0 m/s. Let the positive-x direction point in the direction Tom was running, and the positive-y direction vertically upwards.
