My Mobile Day Blog

Write a blog (500 words minimum) that tells the story of your mobile day and the different brand interactions you have on your phone. 

You can create it on your preferred blogging site (i.e., LinkedIn, blogger, Tumblr, WordPress, etc.) 

Instructions:

Your post should be entertaining and draw us in with funny anecdotes, visuals and storytelling. Use your content marketing know-how by making your post easy to read by using visuals, short paragraphs, bullets/numbers and spacing.

Tell us about your mobile day from start to finish.  As you write about your mobile day, answer the following questions in an engaging narrative (i.e., this isn't a Q&A, write it as your own personal love story with your mobile device):

  1. How is your mobile phone a part of your daily routine? Think of your experience as a "day-in-the-life" customer journey.
  2. In that daily routine, which top five [5] apps (either most used or favourite but less used) did you turn to in your journey?  Explain in terms of the value these apps delivered to you.
  3. What micro-moment prompted the usage of those five [5] apps? For example, I want to... know, go, do, buy, browse, eat, relax, inspire... something else...? You're allowed to get creative here!
  4. Did you have any experiences with mobile 'friction' (i.e. when the user experience sucked) with any of these apps that didn't meet your micro-moment "want"?  Briefly describe them and explain how they created a pain point in your customer journey.
  5. Now take the marketer's perspective. Based on all these answers, what insights you can extract from your own user behaviour that's important to share?  How would you use those insights improve the customer journey?
