First, you are to identify a company of your choice. This could be a company that you are working (or have worked) for, a company you have studied in class, or a case study company. Second, you are to identify ONE of the aspects of market relations that this company has an issue or difficulty or challenge with (see list below). Third, you are to discuss how the theory explored in relation to this topic may be applied to this company and the environment in which it operates. The topics are:
1. Organisational (Buyer and/or Supplier) Attractiveness: how organisations intend to make themselves attractive in the eyes of their partners and how they perceive their partners' attractiveness. Contexts where attractiveness matters, the time perspective and attractiveness in networks. This theme relates to various sessions, including Session 2 and 6.
2. Dark side of business relationships: how is that different from the "bright side" of relationships? How is value creation affected by the "dark side"? How is the "dark side" created? Touch upon relational mechanisms and value as well as potentially different tensions. This theme relates to various sessions, including Session 4 and 7.
3. Business-to-business branding via social media: pros and cons relating to B2B branding activities on social media and how the presence of B2B brands on social media may foster, help maintaining or eventually discourage business relationships. This theme relates to various sessions, including Session 4, 5 and 8.
