1. Based on my lecture on Markets and Commodities, how have changes in the last ten years (such as debt restructuration, privatization and Covid ...) each reshaped the outcome for the environment? Discuss fully.
2. According to Owen, why is living in a rural region more impacttul on the environment? What is sprawl and how is it harmful? What makes sprawl possible?
3. How is traffic congestion not an environmental issue, according to Owen? Why not focus mstead on the air pollution that cars cause? How have we focused on the wrong problem by trying to fix air pollution?
4. How do we delude ourselves about efficiency, according to Owen? He is of the opinion that we should "impose frugality before promoting efficiency"- what does that mean? What are the problems with how we measure 'etficiency'?

7. How are new green buildings missing the mark, according to him? What is the perfect building for him and where should it be located? How can we 'cheaply' make wide streets narrower? What 1s 'traffic calming'? Give examples. What are 'complete streets'?
