How to use this poster template...
Simply highlight this text and replace it by typing in your own text, or copy and paste your text from a MS Word document.
The body text / font size should be between 24 and 32 points. Arial, Helvetica or equivalent.
Keep body text left-aligned, do not justify text.
The colour of the text, title and poster background can be changed to the colour of your choice.
Recent Scientific methods linked to your research
How is the issue in your topic measured scientifically? What equipment is used? What parameters are measured? Please use multiple sources.
Tips for making a successful poster plan...
Work out together how the topic would be measured and assessed scientifically. What is the evidence that supports the viewpoint you have taken? Then, simplify everything and type it in here
You can use headings. These should be in upper and lower case, not all capitals.
Never do whole sentences in capitals or underline to stress your point, use bold characters instead.
When laying out your poster plan leave breathing space around you text. Don't overcrowd your poster.
You can use photographs or coloured graphs. Avoid long numerical tables. You can paste these into the boxes, with captions (see below). You can copy these boxes (highlight and press control C), move them around or delete them if you wish.
Major scientific findings
What findings have been made, using the methods you have described? How do these finding support your argument?
Importing / inserting files...
Images such as photographs, graphs, diagrams, logos, etc, can be added to the poster.
To insert images into your poster plan, go through the menus as follows: Insert / Picture / From File... then find the file on your computer, select it, and press OK.
The best type of image files to insert are JPEG or TIFF, JPEG is the preferred format.
Summary of Topic (how have you addressed the main ideas?)
State again why this topic is important to you as scientists. Point the way forward. What further research could be done? Why should this research be done?
References
List (in alphabetical order of the first author) the references you have used in your research. At least three references from reputable sources should be included. Please use the HarvardWSU referencing style.
