1. "How is the Emperor of Qin portrayed in the movie The Emperor and the Assassin" and how accurate is this portrayal?". Provide a thesis statement that answers this question. A thesis statement is a direct answer to the questions in one or a few sentences. It is clear and takes a stance, which will then be supported in the rest of the paper. In order to answer the question above, you need to think about what you learned abour Qin Shihaungdi from the reading and whether the movie accurately shows what you learn from the reading.

2. Topics. Thoughtfully describe at least three specific points that you want to make in your paper that you think will support your thesis statement. Among topics you might consider are whether the timeline of events is correct in the movie, whether the stories from Qin Shihuangdi's life are shown accurately, whether Qin Shihuangdi's character or personality seems accurate, whether the other important individual's in Qin Shihuangdi's life (his mother, Li Si, Lu Buwei, etc.) seem accurate, etc. Your answer should make it clear that you have thought about these points and that you have done the reading and watched the movie. Overly-simplistic and short descriptions are not acceptable here. Explain each of these points.
