Your assignment was to perform a Job Analysis for a position other than your own, and based on that analysis, write a Job Description. For this assignment, you will create an Employee Selection Plan for applicants applying for the position you described in your Job Analysis/Job Description assignment. I attached my job analysis and job description assignment.

Complete the following instructions, based on your readings for Week 4 and what you have learned from previous weeks:

1. State the Job Title and list theessential job requirementsfor the position, including skills, education, experience, and qualities needed by the person to be successful in the position.

2. State theinterview method(or combination of methods) you would use when interviewing for this position, and briefly explain why you chose it for this opening. Hint: Use the corresponding sections of the text as a guide.

3. Determine at least5 specific questions you will ask all candidates. For each question, explain why you are asking this particular question and what you expect to learn from the candidate's answers. Make sure the questions you choose address issues from the essential job requirements you listed for Question 1.

4. List whattests you would give your candidateand briefly explain the purpose of each related to this position. Hint: Use the corresponding sections of the text as a guide.

JOB ASSESSMENT QUESTIONAIRE: HUMANITARIAN AID OFFICER

1. Job purpose

What is the essence of work in your current position as a medic? And what does it entail in terms of purpose and the specifications?

How would you use the position to transform or spearhead the goals and the objectives of this organization as at now or in the near future?

2. Job duties

Give us a brief description of the duties clearly elaborating what they entail and how you would perform in serving that the organization achieves its target.

3. Job criteria

Are there specific standards to be achieved and if so are there any chances of errors occasioned by short deadlines as a result of pressure since you area of specialty is mostly concerned with emergencies?

4. Background knowledge

What are the personal traits required for this job?

Do you believe you have what it takes to fully deliver and if so there are any chances of weakness of any form and how well have you handled them?

Do you believe you have what it takes in terms of the necessary academic credentials and the expertise in a bid to fully stand against all odds?

Do you agree that in this area of specialty experience and not academic qualifications are vital?

Describe the orientation received before embarking or affirming to yourself that you really are capable?

What are the manual skills relevant for the job in terms of handling the casualties or rather the victims?

Are there any special equipment used for treatment or that serve as a source of aid?

What physical ability such as strength, cooperation, or coordination is required?

What are the working conditions?

8. Authority

Is there any information you consider confidential in the course of handling work?

9. Responsibilities

Is there any responsibility bestowed on you in terms of say handling money of safe keeping of confidential materials?

How is performance evaluated and the feedback given?

What criteria do you think is the best in the evaluation process?

Do you think you are compensated adequately?

Are there any standards that guide the compensation perhaps the position, skills, or the experience?
