How is it useful for training? A design document is incredibly beneficial for training because it ensures all areas of the program are addressed and accounted for as the program is being developed. It provides a detailed account of the training that could be beneficial to all involved in the process, from the trainers to the trainees or those thinking about enrolling. It captures the essence of the training which can also be shared with executive leadership to give them a snapshot of what the training entails. Most importantly, it addresses the organization's needs identified in the needs assessment.
