Question: In class. you were asked to participate in a research study, which involved viewing some pictures or videos on a screen and completing a judgment task accompanying the visual stimuli.

This study aimed to examine how humans perceive elements and communicative differences across cultures, and how our own socio-cultural backgrounds play a role. Students (you) were tested on emotion processing.

Research Question: Is attitude towards gender affected by learning its connotation?

Independent Variable: positive vs, negative connotation

Dependent Variable: attitude towards gender

Hypothesis: Our attitude towards gender is affected by the learning of Its connotation. Learning positive connotations of gender leads to a more positive attitude towards gender than learning its negative connotations.
