HR professionals need to keep up with current legislation not only in the country or state they reside, but also in all the areas where their market is and where their employees work.

Organizations are impacted by changing legislation. Recently, some countries and some U.S. states have passed workplace legislation focusing on equal pay, inclusion, family benefits, etc.

Provide 3-4 examples of (1) how human resources can assist organizations in assessing/researching legislative and policy trends, and (2) how HR can use diversity, as an advantage, in the workplace.
