Description

This is a three-part assignment. For Part One, you will conduct an interview with a pastor or ministry leader (preferably your ministry supervisor), taking notes to use when writing Parts Two and Three. (You may not interview yourself, even if you are a pastor.)

Part I

Interview a pastor or ministry leader using the following questions (you may add your own):

A. What are some of the most common conflicts that you have dealt with over the years?

B. What are some of the most challenging conflicts you have had to deal with?

C. What is difficult about helping other people take responsibility for their part in a conflict? What are best practices in working through conflict?

D. How have you brought Scripture to bear in conflict situations?

E. What have you learned about conflict that would be helpful for me to know?

Part II

Describe the synopsis of the interview, focusing on the pastor or ministry leader's interview responses.

Part III

Describe a briefly expressed reflection, identifying what you learned from the pastor that you can apply to your own ministry in the future.

Combine Parts II and III (the synopsis and reflection) into one paper that also includes an introduction and conclusion.
