He has been trying to improve his diet, he says he eats more chicken than beef now and reduced the amount of soda he drinks to 32 oz per day. He also started going to the gym 1-2 days a week. He did a 3-day diet analysis (see below).

You have just learned about cellular respiration in your biology class, so give your cousin a detailed explanation of the likely effect of these pills on the metabolic pathways in his cells. What process in cellular respiration is likely to be affected, how does it normally function and what will change as a result of taking these supplements?
