For this assignment, choose a company that depends on gig labor and then take a look at their website. Decide whether it seems to offer full disclosure about their pay scales, contractor obligations, and any opportunities for advancement. Next, find at least three articles about this company and its labor practices. Make sure that they are from reputable sources, such as established newspapers, magazines, financial websites, or government agencies. You will need to make a list of your sources, including links. Avoid crowdsourced information, like that found on Wikipedia or Quora. If you have any questions about your sources, ask your instructor if the source is appropriate.

Once you have completed your research, imagine that you have been tasked with recommending regulations that local communities can put in place and changes to how the business operates. In cases like these, change generally needs to come from within the companies and larger society. Think about what is fair and ethical for workers and others who are negatively impacted by the structure of these businesses.

Your presentation should cover the following:

• Three ways the business serves a social need for both the community and/or employees
• Three problems associated with the company's operations and the effect this has on both their contractors and the communities they serve
• Any negative reports of the ethical conduct of those running the company in the past five years-if there are no issues, how has the company maintained such an excellent reputation? Give examples of ethics in action.
• Two suggestions about how the community could better regulate business
• Two steps that the employer could take to improve working conditions for the employees
• How the companies can establish and ensure that all employees adhere to ethical standards.
• Be sure to include a list of at least three appropriate sources with links.
