"In preparing for the Cherokee removal, state and federal officials were motivated solely by the desire to seize the natives' land."
This prompt is very interesting because it is complex like it shows some of the picture but not all of it. This Thises Statement tells us about what they did in the federal and state officials but it is not the full story of what else happened. Most of the people want to see the Cherokees removed just as much as the officials do.
With my own topic, I would focus more on how they felt when The Equal Rights Amendment was going on. I would also focus on the most important things and that would be the reason it took so long and why it took that long.
