A sled begins to slide down a frictionless slope that is 15m above ground. Once it reaches the ground, it continues to slide another 30m across the level ground that has a coefficient of friction of 0.85. What speed is the sled moving at after it travels the 30m on the ground?

A 47.0 g bullet is fired, horizontally, into a ballistics pendulum. After being embedded into the 2.0 kg bob, it moves along with the bob up 20cm above its initial position. How fast was the bullet moving before hitting the bob?
