The velocity of a wave can also be defined as V=fλ, where V is the velocity of the wave, f and λ are the frequency and wavelength respectively. To verify this wave formula, The students set the wave to oscillate at a frequency of 2.2 Hz and then measured the distance between one crest to the other to be 9.1 cm.
