Consider a seesaw whose total mass is 10 kg and total length is 3.5 m. Suppose the seesaw is placed off center on the pivot point so that the pivot point is 24 cm from the center of the seesaw (Fig). Two children, weighing 25 kg and 31 kg, respectively, want to balance on the seesaw. They are separated by a distance of 2.80 m.
