A 50.0 kg snowboarder has an initial velocity of 2.00 m/s at the top of a 26o incline. After sliding down the 100m incline (with coefficient of kinetic friction ?k = 0.200) the snowboarder obtains a velocity v at which point she moves along a horizontal field (?k = 0.140 ) and stops.

a) Diagram the situation. What forces are on the snowboarder in each of the two situations (on the hill and in the field)?

b) What is the snowboarder's velocity at the bottom of the hill? _____________________ _________________

c) How far from the bottom of the hill does she stop?
