Problem: A hot-air balloon sinking toward ground at speed of 3.05m/s, when a piolet drops sandbags overboard. The balloon immediately begins to experience constant acceleration, such that it slows, stops for an instant and then begins to rise. 24.8 seconds after dropping the sandbags, the balloon re-attains its original altitude.

Part A: How long did it take for the balloon to reach minimum altitude?

Part B: How far did the balloon fall during that time?

Part C: What is the speed of the balloon when it returns to the original altitude?
