Solve the each part of following problem:

Problem: A hot air balloon is sinking towards the ground at a speed of 3.05m/s, when the pilot drops a couple of sandbags overboard. The balloon immediately begins to experience constant acceleration, such that it slows in its descent, stops for an instant, and begins to rise. 24.8 seconds after dropping the sandbags, the balloon re-attains its original altitude.

Part A: How long will it take for the balloon to reach its minimum altitude?

Part B: How far did it fall during this time?

Part C: What is the speed of the balloon when it returns to the original altitude?

If possible just a brief explanation how you got the solution?
