Compute all parts of given question:

Question: In a 4 times 100 meter relay race ,you try to take over the baton from a previous runner on your team. You are already at a speed of 9.0 m/s while your teammate, already exhausted, is running at 6.20 m/s. You fail to grab the baton and overtake your teammate. While your teammates continue to run at a constant speed, you proceed to slow down at a constant acceleration of 1.20 m/s2.

Part A: How far beyond the point at which you passed your teammate will he catch up with you?

Part B: How fast will you be then?

I need help to find how far beyond the point at which you passed your teammate will he catch up with you.
