A 25-kg block moving at 1.0 m/s coasts down a 4-m high ramp inclined at 20 degree with the horizontal. The coefficient of kinetic friction between the block and the ramp is 0.20. After reaching the bottom, the block slides along a level frictionless floor and strikes a spring with spring constant k = 1000 N/m.
