Employees make significant contributions to business, but they also need to have some of their activities controlled. As technology becomes more accessible to employees, efficient and effective companies place controls on how employees use company resources.

This article from PC World provides ideas on this topic. For this discussion, provide examples of control(s) imposed in your workplace, stating both the reason for the control and the intended outcome.
