Part 1 : Theories to be discussed

Theory Definition (2 pages). The first section is to provide introductory and summary definitions of the major theories presented. In this section of your paper, you will need to provide a concise overview of each theory addressing the following:

· Provide a brief description of the historical background and setting of the theorist as presented in the course reading.

· Provide a brief description of the major components of each theory

Part 2: Theory Evaluation (3 pages). Once you have provided the summary definitions, discuss and analyze each conceptual framework according to the following considerations in your evaluation:

· What were the major goals or objectives of the theoretical framework?

· How effective was the framework in reaching those goals?

· Determine and describe the major strengths and weaknesses of each theory.

· How would you describe an unintended outcomes related to the theory in practice?

This paper should be approximately 5 pages in length. Include a title page and references page. Please be sure to cite your sources using APA.
