Proposal of research project about the topics
(Readmission of patients) how effective discharge planning forms are when clinicians and nurses are preparing a patient for discharge.
Requirements:
Your proposal should include the title of your research, a research question, a brief description of the research and some key headings for your literature review. This should be completed after your first meeting with your supervisor and submitted before the end of week 3. Please see headings below.
1. Title
Should be succinct and to the point describing what the project is about. It is generally a one sentence statement.
2. Introduction
Provide a brief statement on the issue and a concise outline of the paper content and structure.
3. Research Question
This should be one sentence clearly stating the overall or general aim of the project i.e. what does your project aim to achieve.
4. Objectives
Objectives are short statements in point form which define the limits of the project, essentially stating what you are going to achieve.
5. Rationale (100 words)
This section should provide background information to the topic and indicate the significance of the issue. It should also advise on why this project is being undertaken.
6. Methodology
This is an overview of how the project objectives will be achieved. It briefly describes the components of the project and the procedures that will be followed. It is essential to the smooth running of the project.
7. Timeline
Develop a list of project tasks and the dates for completion to demonstrate how the project will be completed within the semester.
8. Literature Review
A brief review of the most current and relevant literature to indicate that you have read in the area and are able to identify key elements in the project. You should include key headings for the literature review.
9. Recommendations-
Provide a brief statement on the types of recommendations you may expect to include from the literature
10. Conclusion
Summarise the issues
11. References
These should be listed at the end of the project proposal.
