1. Describe in detail how each of the three security protocols works - SSL, Convergence, and DANE.

2. Several recent attacks against certification authorities (CA) and fraudulently issued certificates have called the security of SSL's PKI into question.

a. Explain how Convergence addresses this security vulnerability of SSL's PKI.

b. Explain how DANE addresses this security vulnerability of SSL's PKI.

3. Compare the two approaches of Convergence and DANE by showing the pros and cons of each. You are expected to provide a detailed answer that shows a clear understanding to each question's subject matter. Biblical worldview should be integrated in an appropriate manner and supported by Scripture.
