Market segmentation is an important aspect of healthcare marketing as it helps to identify groups and subgroups of populations of persons we are trying to reach. Market segmentation is the dividing up of these groups so we can create a specific message/service or product to each group or subgroups. Understanding each of these segments will enable you to use scarce financial resources wisely and to capture more of the target aim.
