Read this USA Today article on "Study" Drugs News Article Consider all you've learned about drugs and your own life perspectives on drug use, then prepare to argue this question:

Is this a "drug problem", another demonstration of how drugs have seeped into the lives of our citizens, or an acceptable use of a substance to help get ahead in a high-stakes environment?

Your scenario is that as a student you've been asked to come before Massachusetts legislature and argue both for and against law connected to the use of study drugs. The Massachusetts legislature has been prompted to outlaw study drugs because some groups have seen it as a way to cheat and now they are having hearings prior to writing outlaw.

You are going to craft two arguments. The first argument will be in support of legislation criminalizing the use of study drugs before an exam. This will be a one page argument and it will consist of at least three facts supporting your assertion that students should not be able to use
study drugs before an exam.

The second argument you create is going to be in support of allowing students to use study drugs before an exam. Here again you will include at least three facts supporting that assertion in your argument will be one page long.

You can use any research you want as long as you cite it in your paper. Make sure your work is edited and then submitted to Canvas.
