How does unions affect non union workers? I have never been that educated on unions and for the most part have heard from friends and family that own small businesses that they are a negative thing. I can see how that can be perceived since payroll costs can already be high for many small businesses. However, the focus of a union is on the employees and how they are treated and compensated. It is my belief that especially in America we have a work too hard mind set and because of that we eventually stopped asking for pay that a job deserves. Stewart & Brown states that while only a small percentage of workers in the United States are part of a union, almost all workers can benefit from unions.

-Describe a real-world situation involving ethics that relates to or could be addressed utilizing primary concepts from how unions affect non union workers. Explain how the primary concepts could address the situation.

-Explain the ethical and legal responsibilities of employers to both their employees and the community at large in this situation.
