Introduction The research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of leadership interventions in improving healthcare outcomes, specifically focusing on performance and adherence to guidelines. The main objective is to determine whether leadership interventions can significantly enhance these outcomes in healthcare settings (Broom et al., 2019). This systematic review and meta-analysis address a critical gap in the literature, as there is currently limited evidence on the impact of leadership on healthcare performance and guideline adherence. Methodology This design allows for data aggregation from multiple studies, increasing the statistical power of the findings. The study employs a systematic review and meta-analysis design, appropriate for synthesizing existing research and providing a comprehensive overview of the evidence. Participant Selection Two databases were used for the studies: PubMed and Scopus. The selection of studies involved a comprehensive search strategy that retrieved 3,155 records from two databases. A total of 21 studies were included in the meta-analysis (Kim et al., 2019). Additionally, the selection process might have excluded relevant studies not indexed in the chosen databases. Potential biases could arise from publication bias. The inclusion criteria were stringent, focusing on studies that specifically examined leadership interventions in healthcare.
