For Assignment the goal is to look at health programs/interventions and analyze how they are culturally competent.

Do some research on some existing health interventions / programs that address health disparities among a particular race/ethnic group.

Pick 2 specificinterventions / programs and tell me as much as you can about them.Include the name and website of the program. You can find specific ones all over the internet.

For instance, if I'm looking at programs that target Hispanics and Diabetes, do a google search for "Hispanic Diabetes Interventions" or "Latino Diabetes Programs".

Once you find 2 different programs/interventions I want you to tell me specific details on the services they offer and how they are culturally competent.

Tell me why they aresuccessful or unsuccessful? How do they accommodate and target the racial/ethnic group they are trying to service? Do they properly address the disparity? What elements does the program have that make it successful?
