Case Study: Many employers argue that mandatory paid time off should be a federal law in the USA and others argue that the status quo is fine. Many states have stepped up to provide employees with mandatory paid time off for family and medical leave along with other job leave protections that federal laws do not address (maternity, paternity, jury duty, paid time off, domestic violence, voting, attending children's school activities, medical leave, etc.)
