1)how does the rise of human inches in nature and structure of the physical body relate to the eventual rise of psychology as a formal discipline? Provide specific samples 2) is it true that the mind this truly impact the body greatly. I was actually just watching a program on television that talked about the unconscious making decisions for us 10 seconds before the conscious mind makes a decision. I found this to be truly interesting because it was debating the issue of free will. This is part of why I think it's important train your mind to do things such as convince the body to move outside when depressed, etc. so that the body will naturally respond. 3)is it to psychology is the study of the mind, which means that you have to look at the brain and the behavior or behavior of people. If you want to focus on the brain then you would focus on neuropsychology. I think the different aspects of psychology makes it all more fascinating. 4) it's always good to know yourself, so if research is more difficult for you then you could focus on another aspect of psychology. I have never been one to want to conduct research, but I know the need for it is great. I tend to want to focus on helping people with relationships. 5)I think you make a really good point, but I would like to interject that I think these societies do utilize psychology as well, but it is not in a formal manner. Since psychology is the study of human behavior, it's almost impossible to not utilize this is some form or fashion even if you do not realize you are using it. All, what are your thoughts regarding this? 6)It is true that our experiences tend to shape who we become and our mindset about the world, but what I find very interesting is people with similar experiences have different behavioral responses. For example, two people who grow up with an alcoholic parent may end up responding differently. One person may become an alcoholic as well, whereas the other person may avoid alcohol at all cost. All, why do you think this is the case? 7)Why is the mind/body relationship a problem? Why does this particular topic appear repeatedly over centuries of philosophical inquiry and on into the formal field of psychology?please write a 200 to 300 word paper. 8)Although psychology has made advancements in the world of the mind and body, this still continues to be a debate in the field. I personally think that the mind and body flowing together generally makes for a healthy person, but when they are contrary to one another, it can be sign of mental health problems. For example, a person may know there is no reason to panic mentally, but their body is still responding with panic symptoms such as racing heart, sweaty palms, etc. All, what are your thoughts about this? I need this as soon as possible it's already late and I do not want to fail my class. 9)Write and present a summary of how this week’s readings and activities have affected your thought process regarding any aspect of psychology. Please do not post your summary before Sunday Responses to each Weekly Summary should be at least 100-200 words.
