Assignment:

I'm writing a Philosophy IA that discusses the question "how does the past influence our self-identity?" I want to use the book in this document (Creating capabilities: the human development approach by Martha Nussbaum) as a theoretical framework. I need different perspectives, one of them being cultural. Can you further analyze the cultural perspective and relate it back to Nussbaum's capabilities approach as well?
