Question: How does the below relate to this day in age? (Akisha Allen)
Cognitive psychology is the study of the mental processes that deals with perception, attention, memory, language, problem-solving, reasoning, and decision-making (Goldstein, 2019, 2015).
B.F. Skinner is the front behaviorist psychologist with a behaviorist manner in the other words the memorized spoke and understood right because the sound, production, and meaning are reinforced (Farnsworth, 2022).
According to this week's reading Mackintosh makes a case for perceptual learning in everyday life in a human brain (Pereira, R, 2016). Perceptual learning shows the changes in the way it pickup up information displayed in practice or experience. Goldstein (2019) states, "Cognitive psychology is the study of mental processes, which includes determining the characteristics and properties of the mind and how it operates". Humans show a way to learn to get the necessary, learning that they are surrounded by, and they use what they learn to guide their actions. With this perspective, it is critical defining features of perception, including the way humans' actions are perceived by the events, and surrounding environments (Gibson E, 2022).
Agreed with Mackintosh that the way things are looked at comes with the way a person learns. It is necessary how people learn because everyone's brain is different than what us unique humans.
