circuits analysis professor put 2 graphs on the board, one representing charge with respect to time and one representing current with respect to time. From what I understand, a charge is a collection of electrons and they move through the circuit, and the current gauges the amount of charge/electrons that passes by every second. Please clarify if this is correct. On the charge profile graph, I do not understand how the charge is fluctuating up and down to make a current since current is the change in charge over time. How does the amount of electrons/charge change within the circuit?
Write and test a program for the EASy68k to input a string from the keyboard and output a reversed string to the screen. Use a subroutine to perform the string reversal operation.
If we now decide to use Rg = 1K ohm, what value of input capacitor would be adequate to couple at least 95% of the voltage of a sinusoidal input signal of 10 KHZ to the GATE OF COMMON SOURCE AMPLIFIER
Explain the function of the HMI in a SCADA system.
Power factor improvement, An industrial user has a number of machine tools which are driven by three phase induction motors. during a particular shift, the power factor of the combined load can vary between 0.65(100 KVA load) and 0.81 (20 KVA) loa..
Sketch a block diagram of the arrangement and calculate suitable values of pad resistance if both the amplifier and the line have a characteristic impedance of 600 Ohm.
Spectrum Analyzer, A spectrum analyzer is connected to an unknown signal. The spectrum analyzer displays the power level of signals in dBm vertically and frequency horizontally. The spectrum of the unknown signal creates the following display:
All FSMs have an initial state and the FSM must be forced in to that initial state prior to processing any data inputs. Suppose you want to implement a 5-state FSM in a PAL16R4. Briefly describe how you would force the FSM into its initial state.
Three single phase transformers rated at 100kVA, 13.2kV / 2.4kV are connected in wye -delta on a 3 phase, 18kV line. What is the maximum load that can be connected to the transformer bank
Assuming that the feed point impedance of the complementary 0.475 l dipole is 70 + j0 ohms if it were fed in the center, calculate the distance Zf to use to obtain Zs = 50W for a signal frequency f = 1000 MHz.
1. What is the purpose of core in hollow solder wire 2. What is tinning, and why is it important 3. Why is safety so important when soldering 4. Why has lead-free solder replaced lead-based solder Be sure to properly cite any sources of information.
A 230kVA, 2300/230V, 60 Hz, step-down transformer has the following parameters. RH =1.2-ohm, XH =3-ohm, RL =12m-ohm, XL =30m-ohm, Rh+c=2k-ohm, , Xm =1.8k-ohm. If the transformer operates at half load with unity power factor
An enhancement-type NMOS transistor with Vt=2 V has its source grounded and a 3-V DC source connected to the gate. Determine the operating state if a. vd = 0.5 V b. vd = 1 V c. vd = 5 V
