Case Study: Post comments and observations about this story. Since 2004, I worked in the Tifton Judicial Circuit as a criminal defense investigator. My professional observations with ethical and unethical behavior give me a perception of reality. Being ethical in criminal justice requires being knowledgeable about the do's and don'ts of behavior. Moreover, societal standards define "who may do what to whom," as well as the parameters in which what is done may be done (Becvar, Becvar, &Canfield, 1997, p. 144). Sexual harassment is a serious problem in the workplace. I had trainings and workshops on the subject matter since leaving college. I worked cases with him but never observed inappropriate conduct.
