The scene takes place at Leaps and Bounds Learning and Development Center, where the child EllaRose is seen sitting on the floor. There are several other children who were also playing in the vicinity.
EllaRose is squatting on the center floor facing forward, she moves into a sitting position. Ella Rose was smiling as she was sitting on the center floor and behaving in such a way that she was gazing at a picture book. She flips through the pages gently one page at a time, while pointing out the various illustrations. She provides some of the names of the things that are depicted in the photographs. She is calling out the names of the pictures, Pig, Cat, Dog, Bear. The child is completely concentrated on staring at the pictures in the book in the same sitting position even though there are several other children playing in the same location. EllaRose continues to flip through the pages gently while pointing out the various illustrations calling out additional names, Cow, Cat, and Elephant. She calls out some of the names of the things that were represented in the photographs.
Inference: EllaRose exhibiting her capacity to identify items and give them names. Additionally, she is indicating that she is aware of and can comprehend the idea of visuals.
