Coursework
All students of the Resourcing and Talent Management course must write an essay based on one of the following topics:
Option 1. To what extent do you agree with the statement that "reducing employment regulation is beneficial for both businesses and employees"? Critically discuss, providing examples to support your answer.
Option 2. How does flexible working contribute to enhancing a business's competitive advantage? Critically evaluate the potential benefits and challenges.
Option 3. What are the key challenges associated with Human Resource Planning (HRP) in contemporary business environments, and how can organisations enhance their HRP practices to address these challenges?
To excel in this assignment, you need to engage in a critical discussion, apply the theories and concepts introduced in the course, and support your arguments with academic literature and industry examples.
Each student is required to submit one essay of 2,000 words in length (plus or minus 10 percent), excluding the reference list and title page, using a minimum of 15 academic references to support their argument. In line with SoSS policy, all essays must be referenced using the Harvard system.
